How far is the wedding ceremony from the hotels?

From downtown New Orleans (location of both hotels), it takes about 15 minutes to get to St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church. http://stgabe.net/directions/

What's the distance between the church and the wedding reception venue?

Answer

The church is 5.5 miles from City Park's Arbor Room. It will take about 15 minutes to get there.

What is the weather like in New Orleans in late September?

Answer

The weather in New Orleans around this time is usually mild, ranging in the low to mid 80s. Occasional showers may be in the forecast.

Are there hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes. We have reserved room blocks at two hotels for our wedding guests. Please see the travel section of this website.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and the reception are indoors. At the reception site, wedding guests will be able to venture out near the Pop Fountain, on the patio, and into the gardens.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is. Parking for the ceremony will be available on the street, in the church parking lot, and in the school parking lot. There is ample parking at the Arbor Room. Maps/diagrams will be posted on the wedding website a few weeks before the wedding and will also be inserted in the formal invitation.

Answer

We will only have a honeymoon registry, as we have everything we need for our home. The link will be posted soon under "Registry" (now hidden). Please check back soon. Thanks for your patience.
