Dalton and Skylor met at summer camp when they were just 11 years old. They hated each other at first, but Fight Night at camp the following year led to a blossoming friendship after the two squared off. They became roommates in high school and never looked back.

Leah has been a close friend of the bride since birth. She’s pretty much a sister to both Keyera and Catie. Keyera can always count on her for anything and talk to her about everything. They share countless memories, from endless sleepovers to awkward middle school years to graduations.

Jake and Skylor met freshman year of college when Jake asked to join John and Skylor for a meal. It didn’t take long for them to connect over Minnesota Sports and all the turmoil it’s brought them throughout the years. Together the two worked out, practiced football, started a sports podcast, and sang in a praise band.
Heidi Skewes

Heidi is the bride’s high school best friend. She truly made Keyera’s high school experience 1000000x better. Their early love for Tumblr and various fandoms originally brought them together and their friendship was strengthened by their mutual love of cats, curly hair struggles, and Culver’s chats. Even though their friendship became long-distance after graduating high school, they pick things up like no time has passed.
Jonathan Wordell

Jonathan (Sr.) and Skylor (Jr.) met during college while attending an RA meeting. Instantly connecting through soccer, Skylor and Jonathan’s friendship quickly became evident as the following summer Skylor, Jake, and Jonathan traveled to the wild west on a 10 day camping trip.
MacKenzie Zanto

Kenzie and Keyera got to know each other thanks to Skylor and Noah's friendship. Although they haven't known each other very long, they immediately clicked. Some of their favorite memories include visiting Kenzie in Alaska, a cruise to the Bahamas, and a fun-filled day at Hollywood Studios in Disney World!
Noah Zanto

Noah and Skylor met freshman year of high school. One of their first encounters was when Noah punched Skylor in the stomach because Skylor tickled Noah. From playing football and basketball to breaking school records in track, these guys were never truly strangers. Weekends in dorms were spent playing foosball, Super Smash Bros, and long boarding to McDonald’s.
Samantha Stiemke

Sami and Keyera got to know each other at WLC. They were placed in the same clinical groups all throughout nursing school. They frequently hung out in the library to work on nursing assignments and study for tests together when they weren’t grabbing coffee to stay awake. Now that they’ve both graduated, they hang out in much cooler places. Most recently, Sami joined both Keyera and Skylor in Alaska and was there for the proposal!
Asa Christensen

Asa was adopted when Skylor was 2 years old and they grew up doing everything together from grade school to high school, and playing the same sports to working the same jobs. They rarely did anything apart until Skylor moved to Wisconsin for college.
Madelyn Beyer

Maddy is also a close college friend of Keyera. Both were in the same nursing cohort as well as a few clinicals. They got especially close while working together on a group project for EBP (ask them how much fun they had). Her fun personality and contagious energy will brighten up any room. She will be sure to dance the night away!
John Sell

John and Skylor met when they were around 12 years old at a summer camp. Skylor was immediately fascinated by John’s intelligence. The two ran with different crowds in high school but their friendship took off in college when they became roommates for three out of four years at WLC. Together they played music too loud, sang karaoke, made impulsive drives to see the Northern Lights and so much more.

Bekah was also in the same nursing cohort as Keyera at WLC. They share many memories together, highlighted by many late night study sessions and chats after classes. She is incredibly kind, funny, and an overall joy to be around!
Christian Eiland

Christian and Skylor met at a coffee bar at WLC. From there, their friendship blossomed as the two were both Sport and Exercise Science majors and had a love of all-things-sports and Star Wars. They shared a fanbase in The Dark Knight movie series and the Boston Celtics. They also worked as RAs at WLC and worked on several assignments together during their SPE days.
Taylor Christensen

Taylor is Skylor's oldest brother. Taylor introduced Skylor to the worlds of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, video games, and the Minnesota Vikings. Growing up about 5 years apart, Taylor was and still is someone Skylor looks up to with the deepest admiration. The years have harvested many memories of going on camping trips, bike rides, BMX tracks, Vikings training camp, boating and water sports, and long family road trips.
