What is the best way to get around Beaufort?
Answer
Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are limited, but not impossible, once in Beaufort. We would recommend renting a car if flying, or planning to drive and have your own vehicle if coming from out of town. It is fairly easy to bike or walk around Beaufort once here, however not to and from the wedding. We will provide shuttle options to and from the wedding from Downtown Beaufort.

Where should I stay?
Answer
We recommend finding accommodation in Downtown Beaufort, near Bay street, especially if you do not plan to have your own vehicle. This is a small town that is very walkable, and will be nearest to the shuttle pick up/drop off to and from the wedding. If you plan to have your own vehicle, Downtown Beaufort is still the best option, but other options may include the City of Port Royal, Lady's Island, St. Helena Island, or Fripp Island as well.

Where and when is the shuttle pick up?
Answer
The shuttle will leave from the Downtown Beaufort Marina Parking lot off of Bay street at 3:50 PM at the latest. Please arrive at the Downtown Marina parking lot early (by 3:35) to ensure you are able to board the shuttle if you plan on relying on it for transportation to the event. There is parking available in this lot if you plan to drive to the shuttle. Parking is free after 7 pm on Saturday and all day Sunday. There is also ample street parking around the city. The shuttle will drop off in this same location at the end of the night.

Plenty of parking is available on site if you drive your own vehicle.

What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding is Lowcountry Casual- this means any attire is acceptable. For women we may recommend sundresses, jumpsuits, pantsuits, etc. For men we may recommend pants (khakis, jeans, dress pants, etc) and a button-up shirt. Whatever you feel most comfortable in, no matter how formal or informal will be just fine.

What will the weather be like in March?
Answer
Low 60's to mid 70's, so bring layers in case it is on the chillier side. The wedding event space can adapt to chillier or warmer weather as well.
