Airport

The closest airport is Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia (Airport Code: LIR). The drive time from LIR Airport to Flamingo Beach is approximately 1 to 1.5 Hours. The other option is to fly into Juan Santamaria International Airport in Alajuela, near the capital city, San Jose (Airport Code: SJO). The drive time from SJO to Tamarindo is approximately 4.5+ hours. Important note to consider regarding airport selection: SJO is only recommended if you extend your travel and visit other destinations closer to San Jose.

El aeropuerto más cercano es el Aeropuerto Internacional Daniel Oduber en Liberia (Código de aeropuerto: LIR). El tiempo de viaje desde el aeropuerto LIR hasta Flamingo Beach es de aproximadamente 1 a 1,5 horas. La otra opción es volar al Aeropuerto Internacional Juan Santamaría en Alajuela, cerca de la capital, San José (Código de aeropuerto: SJO). El tiempo de viaje desde SJO a Tamarindo es de aproximadamente 4,5+ horas. Getting to Flamingo

Our planning team, Mil Besos, will gather your flight details and they will arrange drivers to greet you at the airport. If you prefer a rental car, they can take care of that as well. Important note: To facilitate your travel arrangements, our dedicated wedding planning team Mil Besos will be reaching out to you approximately three months prior to the wedding date. They will assist you with airport transportation and organizing activities, making sure your stay is not just comfortable but truly memorable. They will also be collecting your flight information. This will allow them to arrange your airport transportation/shuttles efficiently and group guests based on their arrival and departure days and times. We kindly ask for your cooperation in providing these details when our team contacts you.
