We recommend using Google Flights for finding your flight into Florence and flying into FLR - Florence (Amerigo Vespucci) Airport. The next closest are BLQ (Bologna), Rome (FCO), and Milan (MXP) by a short connecting flight or between 40 minutes to two hours by high speed train.

There will be multiple vans picking up guests at Via de' Vecchietti, 27, Florence (https://maps.app.goo.gl/V7r5VnarV1TH8gZ78). Recommend arriving 15 minutes ahead of time to make sure we get everyone to the venue on time. Shuttles will be leaving the villa at the end of the festivities and returning to the pickup location in Florence.

Taxi Move
This app is a must-have for taxi's around Florence! There are designated taxi pickup locations in the city, but if you want to hail a taxi from elsewhere this is a much cheaper alternative than Uber. If staying at a hotel, it's easier to ask the hotel to call a taxi for you, but this is very useful if you are out and about.
Train
Tram from Airport to Florence City Center
For those arriving or departing from the Florence airport there is a convenient tram that leaves from the airport and ends near Santa Maria Novella train station (end of the line both ways). Tram tickets cost ~€1.70 and are valid for 90 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the tram stop. Each person traveling needs a ticket. Once you enter the tram, make sure to validate your ticket (little machine on-board that stamps it)! Cheaper than a taxi to/from the airport.
