Question

When should I fly in? How long should I stay?

Answer

It's recommended to arrive at least one day prior - the evening of Friday May 9th in case of any delays. How long should I stay? Forever! Italy is amazing, you won't want to leave! We recommend four days total including travel, three days if you're efficient and well traveled. Efficient means your flight times maximize the time difference. For example Florence is nine hours ahead of California and six hours ahead of Pennsylvania. If you need to be expeditious five days is comfortable, fast, but not fast enough that you couldn't enjoy the country.

Question

How and when should I book my flight?

Answer

We recommend Google Flights. 4 to 6 months out is best to start looking at flights. Setup flight price trackers on Google if you expect to book shorter than 3 months out. On Google search type in your city to Florence or nearby Italian city you want to fly into. It has helpful filters to find good flights on price and conveniences as well as notifications for price changes. It's recommended to fly into Florence at least one day prior, by the evening of Friday May 9th. This gives room for any unforseen delays. If you are planning to extend your trip to enjoy the country before or after celebrating with us we highly recommend doing so earlier, before the wedding — late April into early May.
