Let's Get This Party Started!

They caught each other's eyes in a freshman-level philosophy class. Rebekah read Hamlet’s soliloquy aloud for the class. Kevin was assigned extra reading because he was so far ahead. "Impressive," they both said to themselves. "How cool." So Kevin approached Rebekah after class to compliment her, "Wow! That was amazing. You really switched it up in there, great job." She giggled, embarrassed and made an excuse to leave the scene. Did she like him? Was she just afraid of the attention? The world would never know, or would they? (Hint: They would!) A few weeks later, Kevin asked her out to coffee after she was in a bike accident. He was twenty minutes late and she was sick and had stitches in her eyebrow, suffice to say, it wasn't the ideal situation. Still, they had such a good time that they went out again and again and again and again! It took a few weeks for them to admit their feelings for each other, and still, they had a difficult time doing so. Bekah told Kevin "I think you're a really cool guy and I'd like to get to know you better." Kevin told Bekah "I love conversing with you. I've never felt so comfortable around anybody." It took them a few hours to say what they really meant to say, "I like you." And now, they love each other and get to keep going out together for the rest of their lives :)
