Getting Around Town

If you are not renting a car and relying on Uber/Lyft to get around Half Moon Bay, note that availability can be sparse. We recommend giving yourself plenty of time to wait for a car or scheduling your rides in advance to ensure your ride is secured.

Oceano Hotel & Spa

Shuttle services for the day will depart from this hotel. We have a limited block of rooms reserved for our guests at a discounted price of $279/night + taxes on Thursday/Friday/Saturday for the 'Deluxe' suite. If you want the standard 'Princeton' rooms at the hotel or inn, book through the website at the normal rates ($269/night and $199/night, respectively) and just inform the hotel you are a wedding guest. Note that you will need to call the hotel to reserve your wedding block room: no matter which room you book, let them know you are booking with the Hettel/Smith Wedding. We have a hold on these rooms up to 30 days before arrival, so be sure to book by July 4th!

Use the link provided to book a room at up to a 20% discount on retail rate. Note that discount and rates vary based on demand and availability, so the sooner you book the better. The discounted rate will be available up to 14 days before arrival. Note that this hotel is located a little outside of the main area of town, but a short driving distance away.

We have a limited block of rooms reserved for our guests on a first come first serve basis, starting at $235/night + taxes on Thurs and $345/night on Friday/Saturday for a Standard View Junior Suite. We also have limited Ocean View Juniors Suites reserved, with additional room categories are available during those dates if interested. Note that you will need to call the hotel to reserve your room: let them know you are booking with the Hettel/Smith Wedding. We have a hold on these rooms up to 30 days before arrival, so be sure to book by July 4th!

Airbnb/Vrbo

Airbnb and Vrbo rentals are available in Half Moon Bay, however selection may be limited based on the number of guests. You may also look at booking in the surrounding areas (Pacifica), but note that Uber/Lyft transportation after the wedding will need to be scheduled in advance.

We will provide a shuttle from The Oceano to the venue and another shuttle back to The Oceano at the end of the night. Masks will most likely be required on the shuttle.
