Jenny is Kayla’s older sister. Kayla and Jenny went from their roles of annoying little sister and annoyed big sister around the time that Jenny moved away to college and have luckily been besties ever since! If you see Kayla on the phone during her commute home everyday, it’s safe to assume she’s on the phone with Jenny! Fun fact: Jenny and Kevin both played on Mizzou's Ultimate Frisbee team!
Tom Koines
Best Man
Tom is Kevin's older brother. When Tom married Brooke in 2019, Kevin had the honor of serving as Tom's best man. Kevin is now so lucky that Tom agreed to return the favor! Tom and Kevin have always been close and have had the opportunity to share some special trips together. In 2015, Tom invited Kevin to join him on a work trip to Punta Mita, and in 2021, Kevin and Kayla surprised Tom by flying to L.A. to help celebrate his first Father's Day! Fun fact: Tom has traveled to 22 countries!
Hope Kirwan Bain

Hope is one of Kayla’s best friends. Hope and Kayla were piccolo players in Marching Mizzou together beginning in 2011, and by the beginning of their sophomore year, they were inseparable. Fun fact: Hope and Kayla go on an annual “HoKay Float Trip” every year, complete with matching swimsuits, an epic playlist, a 2-person inner tube (which they bought together specifically for this purpose), and the perfect stick for steering. 2024 will be the 8th annual HoKay Float!
Jim Meyer
Groomsman
Jim has been friends with Kevin since they met in high school at DeSmet. Since then, Kevin and Jim have been there to celebrate the big moments (like Kevin being a groomsman in Jim's wedding and Jim hosting an engagement party for Kayla and Kevin) as well as the little moments in between (like cabin weekends over the summer and board game nights). Fun Fact: Kevin and Jim played ultimate frisbee together at DeSmet and won 2 state championships together!
Christina Caldwell
Bridesmaid
Christina is one of Kayla’s best friends. Christina and Kayla have been friends since 2011. Fun fact: Christina and Kayla were randomly assigned to be suitemates as Missouri Girls State in the summer of 2010 and then were randomly assigned to be roommates during their freshman year at Mizzou in 2011 - the universe knew the friendship was meant to be!
Paul Kellerhals
Groomsman
Paul and Kevin met in 2019, shortly after Kevin moved back to St. Louis. Since becoming friends, Paul, Kevin and Nick have spent many nights playing trivia at bars around St. Louis. Paul is also on the sand volleyball team with Kayla and Kevin. Fun fact: Paul has helped all four of the Koines siblings move!
Jessica Null
Bridesmaid
Jess is Kayla’s sister-in-law and has been part of Kayla’s life for close to 15 years! Fun fact: Kayla and Jess share a love of Hallmark Christmas movies and enjoy an annual Hallmark movie night complete with hot chocolate and Grasshopper shakes!
Lucas Null
Groomsman
Lucas is Kayla's older brother. Kayla and Lucas have very similar tastes in music and have a lot of fun sending current favorites back and forth while also enjoying the classics (like "Stepped on My J'z" by Nelly). Fun fact: Both Lucas and Kayla got to play at the Cotton Bowl while they were at Mizzou; Lucas as a football player in January 2008 and Kayla as a piccolo player in January 2014.
Theresa Koines

Theresa is Kevin’s older sister, one of Kayla’s close friends, and a member of the sand volleyball team that Kayla and Kevin met through and still play on. When Kayla and Kevin started dating, Kevin and Theresa were roommates which presented the perfect opportunity for the trio to grow close and led to many shared dinners, Innsbrook weekends, and late night chats! Fun fact: Kayla technically met Theresa before she met Kevin!
Ryan Fleming
Groomsman
Ryan is Kevin's friend who he met in college at Mizzou. During their junior year, Ryan and Kevin lived together, along with five(!!) other guys! When Kevin moved back to St. Louis, they got to work together at MSD for several years. Fun Fact: In 2015, Ryan and Kevin drove through the night to get to Orlando in time to watch Mizzou play in the Citrus Bowl game (which Kayla was also attending as a member of Marching Mizzou)!
Elizabeth Moore

Elizabeth is Kayla’s cousin. Only a year apart in age, Elizabeth and Kayla spent their childhoods together going to the same schools, playing on the same sports teams, and dancing in the same classes. Fun fact: after several years of living in different cities, Kayla and Elizabeth now live less than a mile apart!
Nick Sabino
Groomsman
Nick is Kevin's friend who he met in high school, even though they went to different schools. While they saw each other less while they were in separate states for college, they picked up where they left off when Kevin moved back to St. Louis in 2018. Nick is a part of the volleyball team that Kayla and Kevin met on and still play on. Fun fact: Nick was there the first night that Kevin and Kayla met and encouraged Kevin to ask Kayla out after witnessing their chemistry together!
Emily Jerrolds

Emily is Kayla’s cousin and fellow die-hard Taylor Swift fan! The cousins, along with Elizabeth, have participated in two separate Taylor Swift Trivia Nights together, and get closer to winning each time! Fun fact: The first time Kayla heard a Taylor Swift song was in Emily’s car!
Matt Barnes
Groomsman
Matt and Kevin met through Ryan at Mizzou, where all three of them were working on getting degrees in civil engineering. The first time Kevin introduced Kayla to his group of friends was at a Beer Olympics at Matt's house where Kayla dominated Survivor Flip Cup. Fun fact: Kevin and Kayla's first time at a City SC game was with Matt and his wife, Koleen!
Laura Leonard

Laura is one of Kevin’s older sisters. Over the years she and Kayla have had the opportunity to bond over their similar TikTok algorithms, their book clubs, and their love for Taylor Swift! Fun Fact: Laura was Lucas’ RA when they were at Mizzou. The two of them were Facebook friends before Kayla and Kevin ever met!
Chris Leonard

Chris is Kevin's brother-in-law and has been part of Kevin's life for over 14 years! Fun fact: Kevin and Chris have gone on multiple winter float trips together where they canoe and camp in full winter gear!
Brooke Koines

Brooke is Kevin’s sister-in-law and has been part of Kevin's life for almost 9 years! Fun fact: Brooke and Tom lived in Los Angeles for most of their relationship, but moved to St. Louis in August of 2022! Kayla and Kevin have loved having them both close!
Curtis Null

Curtis is Kayla's younger brother. Curtis and Kayla have always been very close, even though when he was born Kayla had her fingers crossed she would get another sister. While they don't live in the same city, Kayla, Kevin and Curtis still make time to regularly get together to play board games! Fun fact: Kayla and Curtis both took tap dancing lessons at the same studio!
Allison Mannion

Allison and Kayla became friends in 2014. Kayla and Allison remained close friends while Kayla was in law school, then, when Kayla moved back to St. Louis after graduation, she coincidentally moved into an apartment right around the corner from Allison’s house which led to countless walks and wine nights. Fun fact: Allison, Kayla and Kevin all overlapped in the civil engineering program at Mizzou where Allison met both Kayla and Kevin separately.
Zoe Manzy-Coates
Usher
Zoe was the first friend Kayla made when she moved back to St. Louis after graduating from law school. Kayla and Zoe worked together in the tax accounting department at Build a Bear’s World Bearquarters. Along with being coworkers they also became workout buddies and Soulard regulars. Once Kayla left the company, Zoe couldn’t stand to be there without her and left (at least that’s Kayla's memory of it). Zoe is now out in Vegas which is much too far. Fun fact: Zoe was the first person Kayla told about the boy at volleyball she had a crush on (aka Kev)!
