Flight

Seattle Tacoma International Airport

SEATAC is the most common airport for flying into Seattle. It's located about 20 minutes by car from downtown Seattle. There are rental cars available at the airport, or you can catch an Uber or Lyft. If you won't need a car for the weekend, we highly recommend taking the Light Rail from the airport. There are signs for it once you get to baggage claim, and it's currently $2.75 per ride. If you're staying near the venue, getting off at the Pioneer Square station will get you where you need to be. For route schedule, fees, and other information visit: https://www.soundtransit.org/

Hotel

Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square

255 South King Street
Seattle, WA 98104
 (206) 859-4400

The room block for the hotel is closed but they might have rooms available.

Flight

Paine Field

Paine Field Airport in Everett (where Kasey works!) is newly open for commercial travel. It doesn't have as many flight options as SEATAC but could be an option for anyone who might want to stay north of the city. There are car rentals available, or it's about a half hour Uber or Lyft ride from the airport to downtown Seattle.

House Or Rental

Airbnb

For anyone looking for a slightly bigger space than a hotel room, Airbnb and VRBO are options with locations all over the city.

Train

Seattle Light Rail

The light rail is an excellent way to get around the city. It currently runs from just south of the SEATAC airport all the way to the University of Washington. For an on-the-go look at the schedule, you can download the One Bus Away app.

Travel Note

King County Metro

If you'll be primarily staying within Seattle city limits, public transportation is a great alternative to renting a car. Various bus lines will take you almost anywhere you want to go, and you can plan a trip on the website below or use the One Bus Away app on the go. If you'll be paying by ride, the bus only takes cash, otherwise you can buy and pre-load an Orca card to use during your stay.
