Things To Do

Seattle has amazing sites, food, and activities. Here are some of our favorites or popular activities that are in the city and easy to get to by public transportation, ride shares or walking!
Seattle Public Library-Central Library

Seattle Public Library-Central Library

1000 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104
, (206) 386-4636

Not only is this one of the most unique buildings in the city, it is a place very near and dear to Kasey's heart. Kasey loves to read and visits the various libraries in the city frequently.

Space Needle

Space Needle

400 Broad Street, Seattle, WA 98109
, (206) 905-2100

Check out the newly renovated Space Needle. Walk on the revolving glass floor and take in beautiful views of the city.

Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market

Seattle, WA

Watch the fish get tossed and check out all the local food, flowers, art and gifts!

Seattle Art Museum

Seattle Art Museum

1300 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101
, (206) 654-3100

If you enjoy art the Seattle Art Museum has some amazing exhibits and displays!

Reuben's Brews - The Taproom

Reuben's Brews - The Taproom

5010 14th Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA 98107
, (206) 784-2859

This is probably our favorite brewery in Seattle. There are also several more within walking distance of Reuben's including: Lucky Envelope, Stoup, Obec, Populuxe, and Lagunitas.

Seattle Mariners

Seattle Mariners

1250 1st Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134
, (206) 346-4001

If the Mariners are in town we recommend catching a game. T-Mobile Park is one of the best in baseball, even if the product on the field is not!

Greenlake Boathouse

7351 East Green Lake Drive North, Seattle, WA 98115
, (206) 527-0171

This lake and park are very close to our house and you can often find us running around it or walking Oliver on a nice day. It's a great place to just hang out, or rent a kayak or stand up paddle board and hang out on the lake for awhile! Lake Union is another great place to rent all kinds of watercraft and see the city from a different viewpoint!

Golden Gardens Park

8498 Seaview Place Northwest, Seattle, WA 98117
, (206) 684-4075

We love our parks up here! (Just ask Kevin). Golden Gardens is a great beach and park on the west side of Seattle. Some other beautiful parks we love are Discovery Park (take some time to wander!) and Volunteer Park (be sure to stop at Volunteer Park Cafe for wonderful coffee and pastries).

Gas Works Park

2101 North Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103
, (206) 684-4075

You'll often find Gas Works packed on a sunny day; the hill in the middle of the park provides a great view of the city, and the structures at the bottom are a ton of fun to explore. Plus, Gas Works was featured in the movie 10 Things I Hate About You! Afterwards head a couple of blocks west to check out Fremont Brewing, another favorite of ours.

Boeing Future of Flight Museum

Boeing Future of Flight Museum

8415 Paine Field Boulevard, Mukilteo, WA 98275
, (800) 464-1476

Check out the Boeing Factory Tour, which starts from the Future of Flight Museum. You'll get to see where some of the planes Kasey has worked on are built, and if you drive around the site you'll see the plane she's currently working on testing. There are multiple tours each day, so you can make this a day of decision, or if you'd like, you can purchase advance tickets online.

For all the days along the way
