7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Join us as we welcome everyone to French's Point and toast to the wedding weekend! There will be a few light bites, desserts, beer, wine, and lawn games! We recommend grabbing dinner beforehand. What should we wear? The dress code is coastal cocktail—Gentlemen: Khakis or dress pants with a button-down shirt; jackets are optional, and no ties are necessary. Ladies: Dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, or anything festive and comfortable that suits an outdoor setting. The event is outside on the oceanfront, so while the days are typically warm, late afternoons and evenings can bring a cool coastal breeze. We suggest bringing an extra layer to stay cozy once the sun sets!
3:30 pm - 4:00 pm
September on the coast of Maine brings ocean breezes, golden light, and slightly cooler temps as the sun sets. The wedding attire will be semi-formal with a coastal twist! For the gentlemen: a jacket is encouraged, but it doesn’t need to match or be part of a full suit. For the ladies: dresses, jumpsuits, or other festive wear are perfect. Bring an extra layer in case the evening air turns cool.
4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Dinner and dancing will be under the sailcloth tent near the terrace. Come hungry, thirsty, and ready to dance! We'll have late night bites before our band wraps up at 10 pm.
10:00 pm - 11:00 pm
While the band may be ending at 10 pm, we'll continue the celebration with more late night bites and beverages up at the Retreat House. We'd love for all interested guests to join - the more, the merrier! To give our bartenders an accurate headcount, we would appreciate your commitment one way or another. (While we hope it's a "yes," this will already have been a long day of celebration - so there is no shame in heading home for some rest!)
