Where can I book a room?

Answer

Rooms MUST be booked through the group block link in order to attend wedding events to avoid extra fees and to get the benefits of the discounted Group rates, so we highly recommend and would love for you to book through our booking site. Is there transportation available between Cancún International Airport and the resort?

Answer

We will be providing roundtrip airport transfers from and to the resort for our guests! Please submit your flight details no later than one month prior to arrival, on the given link - www.shaadidestinations.com/janki-and-kevin The resort is a 25-30 minute drive from Cancún International Airport.

What are the visa and/or passport requirements for Mexico?

Answer

Travel to Mexico requires valid passports, even for US Citizens. Mexico has no visa requirement for US Citizens, but you will be asked to fill out a FMM form (Mexico's visitor permit) on the plane or once you land. Once you get to immigration and customs at Cancún airport, the agents will give you the bottom half to retain until you leave the country. It is VERY important to keep this secure until you leave Mexico.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Answer

Check-in time is at 3pm and check-out time is at 12pm. Reservations made through Shaadi Destinations will be given priority on early check-in times as we will make requests directly with resort management. Early check-in is not guaranteed, but the resort will do their best. Guests are welcome to stay on property all day the day of check-in and check-out. Bags will be stored with your butler staff when you don't have access to your room.

Can I stay for just 2 nights?

Answer

While most destination wedding guests choose to stay 5-7 nights when flying to Mexico, we understand there may be certain limiting factors. Unfortunately, group discounts are only valid on a minimum of 3 night stays. If you absolutely must stay 2 nights, please contact us at hello@shaadidestinations.com so we can find the best rates possible for you. Booking through Shaadi Destinations allows for certain group benefits to be conveyed and allows for the best rate possible.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We chose Generations Riviera Maya because of the endless list of activities that will turn us all to children - so children are encouraged! Generations provides non-stop entertainment for the kids with themed characters, the Eko Kids Club (Sunday, Monday: 9 am - 5 pm & 7:30 pm - 11 pm, Tuesday - Saturday: 9 am - 5pm & 7:30 pm - 9 pm), Little Eko Chefs program (3 pm on weekdays), and much more! Karisma also includes baby amenities such as strollers, cribs, bottle sterilizers, bottle warmers, changers, baby monitors, pack n' plays, sterilizers, baby baths, baby robes, baby slippers, and high chairs. Adults staying at Generations Riviera Maya are more than welcome to join the festivities throughout the day or dine at any of the restaurants at El Dorado Royale!
