When and where should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask everyone to let us know they are coming by April 10, 2022 using the RSVP link on our site above. Anyone letting us know after this date will be required to bring their own folding chair and a sandwich.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We promise we have everything we need right now! However, expanding our family is a dream and requires a substantial financial investment. Kids are expensive and overall costs to adopt can range anywhere from $25,000 to $40,000. If interested, we request gifts be directed to our efforts in expanding our family and gifts can be made through our adoption page (tx.ag/AdoptionFund).

Is there a dress code?

We picked this new date because it coincides with the Kentucky Derby, a tradition we use to bring together friends and family. Cocktail attire is requested and HATS are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED! Don't have a fancy/funny hat? Put those hot glue gun skills to use and make your own.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have room blocks available at three local area hotels that are all within walking distance of the venue. Check out the Travel page for more information.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

That's a great question, and if Texas ever had consistent weather during the year, we would have a better answer. However, under normal circumstances in May, one can expect highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Paid parking is available around the venue. We would suggest parking in the either the Convention Center Garage (41 Bowie St, San Antonio, TX 78205) or at the RiverCenter Shops Garage ( 849 E Commerce St, San Antonio, TX 78205). Parking is ~$10-20 and a hell of a lot cheaper than any hotel parking.

What happens after the reception?

Answer

Look, we can't be planning your whole weekend, but everyone is welcome to join us at Tributary - Lobby Bar in the Marriott Rivercenter around 9pm. After that, you're on your own for the night or can head over to The Bonham Exchange for more dancing.

Are there other events I can attend?

Answer

Yes! We want to see you as much as possible...seriously! Friday night, everyone in town is welcome to join us for evening drinks, and Sunday morning-ish, you are welcome to join us for brunch. Check out the Schedule page for all the details!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The venue for our ceremony and reception is The Grand Promenade (121 Alamo Plaza) located on the second floor. The venue entrance is under the blue awning and left of the entrance to Pat O'Brien's. We understand if you get lost and want to stay at Pat O'Briens, but we think you'll have more fun if you find the actual venue. If you are unable or need assistance accessing the second floor, please use the rear entrance (246 Losoya St.) or contact Pat O'Briens for directions to the elevator (210) 220-1076.
