Like so many couples, we made the tough decision to cancel our big celebration with friends and family. We were lucky to have a small ceremony on our original date in our backyard with family and a group of friends that evolved into an extended pandemic family (#COVIDCampfire). We still want to see our friends and family that have supported our relationship over the years. So, join us to properly celebrate our marriage!
Kevin successfully defended his dissertation on April 14, 2020, and graduated with his Ph.D. in August 2020. Shortly before graduating, Kevin accepted a faculty position as an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Like many other graduates that year, he did not get a chance to walk during a formal graduation ceremony. So, join us to celebrate Dr. Bazner!
For those who followed our last home makeover, we decided to do it again. In June 2021, we made the move to San Antonio to be closer to family, Greg's Law School, and a shorter commuting distance for Kevin to Corpus Christi. Being in San Antonio, the place of our original wedding location seems almost too serendipitous. So, join us as we celebrate our new home!
After 8 years of working at Texas A&M University-College Station, Greg made a leap of faith and began pursuing a longtime dream of becoming a lawyer. Greg started at St. Mary's University School of Law in Fall 2021 and will soon be a 2L. So, join us to celebrate Greg's first year!
Our adoption journey has been filled with twists and turns like many parts of our lives these past few years. We have completed our adoption home study and were matched with a birth mother who is due in early April...YIKES!!! But, it is just one more thing to add to our celebration of everything! We cannot thank those who have supported us through this journey enough. Right now, we are simply waiting and rushing to get our lives in order to welcome our new addition. So, join us in celebrating good things to come!
These past two years of planning this party, postponing this party, rescheduling, and more has caused a lot of anxiety, frustration, and some regret. We are so looking forward to seeing as many of our friends and family that can make it to quite literally "Celebrate ALL of the Things!"
