Highland Park Village is a luxury shopping center in the heart of Dallas. Even if you can't afford to shop here (think Chanel, Rolex, Alexander McQueen), it is still worth a visit. Sadelle's or Bistro31 are great places to grab brunch. Mi Cocina is an iconic Tex-Mex restaurant, after dinner make sure to go up to the rooftop "Monkey Bar" and order a Mambo Taxi for Elle. After your margarita, head over to Lounge31 for a nightcap and fantastic people watching!
Knox / Henderson is a shopping and dining district close to Highland Park. If you want to be seen, grab brunch or lunch at Le Bilboquet or the Restoration Hardware rooftop. If you want to do some shopping there are cute boutiques and if you feel inspired Tecovas has great cowboy boots. For dinner, head over to another Tex-Mex favorite: Javier's! After dinner, make sure to visit their cigar bar next door for a nightcap.
Bishop Arts is one of Elle's favorite neighborhoods! Head over in the early afternoon to check out the cute shops and bars (perhaps do a cider tasting at Bishop Cider). Grab dinner at Paradiso and make sure to stop at Emporium Pies for dessert!
The lively Deep Ellum entertainment district is known for its vibrant street murals, quirky art galleries and long-time concert venues for indie and blues. Make sure to visit Pecan Lodge (Kevin's favorite BBQ spot) while you are there! Dot's Hop House & Courtyard is a fun outdoor bar worth a visit as well.
