Girl next door, friends to lovers - Kevin and I definitely fit a few tropes. We met junior year of high school and became friends senior year - mostly because I “kidnapped” him and made him watch the World Cup. After a summer trip to Mexico before he transferred closer to home we officially upgraded to best friends. From there, I’d sneak over to binge The Walking Dead, bonding over horror, Chelsea FC, Mario Party (even though he always steals my stars), animals (shout out to our boy Aloo), and our endless playful jabs. After years of friendship, we made it official in 2016. This May, we’ll be celebrating ten years together - and we can’t wait to keep going as best friends, partners, and soul mates.
