Jorge Chavez International Airport

Lima's one and only international airport is located in the North-West part of Lima city. It is a relatively small airport with a single terminal and moderate-to-quick immigration's time. If you come from abroad we highly recommend booking a taxi-service before you exit the restricted security area (located immediately after you exit customs and baggage claim). This guarantees the safest and quickest way to your hotel or staying location. There is not direct public transportation from the Airport to Lima center. El único aeropuerto internacional de Lima está ubicado en la parte noroeste de la ciudad. Es un aeropuerto relativamente pequeño, con una sola terminal y tiempos de inmigración que suelen ser de moderados a rápidos. Si vienes desde el extranjero, te recomendamos reservar un servicio de taxi antes de salir de la zona de seguridad restringida (ubicada justo después de pasar por aduanas y recoger tu equipaje). Esto te garantizará la forma más segura y rápida de llegar a tu hotel o lugar de estadía. No existe transporte público directo desde el aeropuerto hasta el centro de Lima.
