Let’s get this party started!

Kevin and Colette’s story began in the wee hours of the night at one of Fort Lauderdale’s finest establishments, formally known as Briny’s Irish Pub. Kevin and Colette were downtown with their friends and both ended the night at a local bar that they frequented on a regular basis, but had never noticed each other at prior. Armed with some liquid courage, Colette made the first move by approaching Kevin and (politely) insisting that he shared some of his 30 green tea shots with her and her friends. The two spent the remainder of the night talking and laughing until the sun came up...literally. The connection was instant, and from there, Kevin spent the following weeks texting and spending all of his free time with “the mysterious turtle girl from Pittsburgh” - even missing a few consecutive Sunday family dinners. Kevin and Colette would go on to spend the next three years together, having as much fun as they did on the first night they met.

In Summer 2021, Kevin, Colette, Kevin’s oldest brother, Trey, and his wife, Alison, took a long weekend vacation to Tulum, Mexico. Little did Colette know that this would become the most memorable trip of a lifetime. While taking photos at their villa before dinner, Kevin surprised Colette by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him - to which she quickly and enthusiastically replied, “YES!”
