Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Caroline Jensen and Kevin Posner
Copenhagen has so much to offer, and is a beautiful, walkable city, especially when the sun is shining. Here are a list of things that Kevin and I have done, or love to do when we visit the city.
The Little Mermaid

The Little Mermaid

Langelinie, København ø, 2100, Denmark

One of Copenhagen's most famous tourist attractions

Nyhavn

Nyhavn

Nyhavn 3, København, 1051, Denmark

The main harbour in Copenhagen with the iconic colorful buildings. Great for photos and people watching. Here you can take a group boat tour to learn more about the history of the city. Be mindful of the touristy restaurants and bars along the strip!

Carlsberg Brewery

Carlsberg Brewery

Gamle Carlsberg Vej 11, København, 1799, Denmark

A highlight from Kevin's first trip to Copenhagen was doing a Carlsberg Brewery Tour. Not only did we taste a variety of delicious beers, but we also learned about the history of Carlsberg, Denmark's most famous beer. We definitely recommend making the visit!

Coffee

Coffee

Boldhusgade 6, København K, 1062, Denmark

Denmark is known for their delicious pastries, and Copenhagen is filled with lots of bakeries and coffee shops. HANS Coffee is a favorite - you must try a croissant and traditional bun with cheese and jam!

Tivoli Gardens

Tivoli Gardens

3 Vesterbrogade, København, 1630, Denmark

Denmark's famous amusement park. Consider going in the later afternoon/evening for less crowds and beautiful lights.

Strøget

Strøget

Strøget, København, Denmark

Main shopping strip, located in the center of the city

Meatpacking District, Copenhagen

Meatpacking District, Copenhagen

Høkerboderne 9-15, København, 1712, Denmark

Meatpacking district is a fun place to eat and drink. MOTHER is great for Neapolitan style pizza. If you are an ice cream lover, Ismageriet is a must try!

Kronborg Castle

Kronborg Castle

Denmark

If you are planning to stay in Denmark for a couple of days, and want to explore outside of Copenhagen, then we can recommend taking the train to Helsingør. Located 1 hour north of the capital, you will find an old coastal city home to Kronborg slot, AKA Hamlet's castle, and conveniently located across from Sweden!
