A highlight from Kevin's first trip to Copenhagen was doing a Carlsberg Brewery Tour. Not only did we taste a variety of delicious beers, but we also learned about the history of Carlsberg, Denmark's most famous beer. We definitely recommend making the visit!
Denmark is known for their delicious pastries, and Copenhagen is filled with lots of bakeries and coffee shops. HANS Coffee is a favorite - you must try a croissant and traditional bun with cheese and jam!
Denmark's famous amusement park. Consider going in the later afternoon/evening for less crowds and beautiful lights.
Main shopping strip, located in the center of the city
Meatpacking district is a fun place to eat and drink. MOTHER is great for Neapolitan style pizza. If you are an ice cream lover, Ismageriet is a must try!
If you are planning to stay in Denmark for a couple of days, and want to explore outside of Copenhagen, then we can recommend taking the train to Helsingør. Located 1 hour north of the capital, you will find an old coastal city home to Kronborg slot, AKA Hamlet's castle, and conveniently located across from Sweden!
