Taxis are available, but can be on the pricier side. The metro is about a 20 minute ride to downtown Copenhagen.
Getting around Copenhagen is easy and enjoyable! We recommend using the Metro or S-train, which you can access by purchasing a travel card through the Rejsebillet app. **Important:** Be sure to tap your phone or physical ticket at the posts before boarding—this activates your ticket. Train conductors do check for ticket activation, so this step is essential. You can be fined! For more details about tickets and passes, visit: https://www.dsb.dk/en/tickets-and-services/Citypass/ If you prefer a more local experience, biking is wonderful and by far the most popular way to get around Copenhagen. Just remember to follow the bike lanes!
The Church is located walking distance to the venue. There is a scenic path through Frederiksberg Garden that will take you directly to Brøndsalen. Please bring or wear appropriate shoes to walk in! It will be about a 15 minute walk.
Danish summers can be pretty unpredictable. Rain and brisk winds should always be accounted for. We recommend packing jeans, sweater, and a jacket for the possible cold days, as well as summer dress and shorts (maybe even a bathing suit) for the occasional warm sunny days.
Denmark is a pretty cashless country, however having a few Danish Kroners wouldn't hurt. Most payments are made via credit card, apple pay, or mobile pay. Keep in mind that American Express may not be accepted everywhere.
