Has the pandemic changed your plans?

Answer

Yes. After a lot of thought about what we really want, who we want to celebrate with, and how we want to celebrate, we have decided to cancel our 2020 wedding. It was a tough call, for many reasons, but we feel it was the right one. With the recent surge of cases, we weren’t comfortable taking the risk, weren’t comfortable asking our family and friends to take that risk, and wanted to give everyone ample time to cancel any flights and hotel reservations and hopefully get refunds/credits. It doesn’t feel great, and we appreciate those of you who have reached out over the past few weeks, but hey, we’re brightsiders over here! We are going to make the best of it.

Are you still getting married on September 5, 2020?

Answer

Yes! We will still be getting married on September 5. It will be a small ceremony with only parents and siblings, but we’re doing it. We were able to find a beautiful winery in Yamhill County that has agreed to host our little audible, and we’re coordinating with the winery and our photographer to make it a great day!
