Which airport should we fly into when traveling to Lucca?
Answer
Pisa International Airport is the best option when traveling to Lucca since it’s 30 minutes away by car or 40 minutes away by bus or train. Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci Airport) is the second best option when traveling to Lucca since it’s 1 hour away by car or 1 hour and 30 minutes away by bus or train.

What is the guest dress code for the wedding?
Answer
The dress code is black-tie optional. Please avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, and butter yellow/lemon as these colors are reserved for members of the wedding party.

What kind of shoes should I wear?
Answer
Most of the wedding venue is covered with gravel so please choose shoes with this in mind. For those wearing heels, we recommend wearing shoes with a thicker heel to provide more walking stability, such as a block heel or wedges.

Will the wedding be held indoors or outdoors?

Both the wedding ceremony and dinner reception will be held outdoors while dancing will be indoors.

Sorry, no. If you are traveling with little ones, please let us know if you require on-site childcare during the wedding ceremony and reception.

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you have been granted a plus one, your invitation will be addressed as “[Your Name] & Guest.” Thank you for understanding.

In early September, Lucca, Italy, typically experiences warm and pleasant weather with average high temperatures reaching around 77°F, and low temperatures near 59°F.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive at Villa Grabau at least half an hour prior to the ceremony to get situated.

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?
Answer
We plan on providing shuttle service to Villa Grabau before the start of the ceremony and back to Lucca following the reception. More information will be provided soon.
