Flight
You will fly into La Aurora Int'l Airport (GUA) that is located in the capital city of Guatemala City, which is about a 1-1.5 hour drive to Antigua. Transportation from the airport to Antigua will be arranged for all guests, with details coming soon. Alternatively, Uber and private shuttles (i.e., Guatedriver) are available for guests who choose to book their own transportation. Volarán al Aeropuerto Internacional La Aurora (GUA), ubicado en la Ciudad de Guatemala, la cual se encuentra a aproximadamente una hora u hora y media de viaje en carro de Antigua. Se organizará el transporte desde el aeropuerto hasta Antigua para todos los invitados; los detalles se comunicarán próximamente. Como alternativa, están disponibles servicios de Uber y traslados privados (por ejemplo, Guatedriver) para aquellos invitados que prefieran reservar su propio transporte.

We highly recommend exploring Antigua. Walking through its cobblestone streets feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by stunning architecture, historical ruins, artisan markets, and cafes, all surrounded by three volcanoes. You can easily explore it by walking around (wear comfy shoes!), take an Uber, or enjoying a ride on a "tuk-tuk", the local small taxis for about $3. Must see landmarks include the Arco de Santa Catalina, Cerro de la Cruz, Parque Central, and Iglesia la Merced. Simoon Tours offers fun ATV rides to many of these landmarks and more! Recomendamos explorar Antigua. Caminar por sus calles empedradas es como retroceder en el tiempo, rodeado de una arquitectura impresionante, ruinas históricas, mercados de artesanías y cafeterías.
