Question

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Answer

Yes! The entire event will take place at the Old Saco Inn in Fryeburg, ME. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held in the field behind the Inn and the reception will be held in the barn at the top of the hill.

What is the best way to RVSP?

Answer

We are not collecting paper RSVPs. Please reference the link on our website to document your official RSVP, respond to any other pertinent questions, and make your dinner selections for the reception. A QR code will also be included on the invitation that directs you to the RSVP link. The RVSP link is not currently available, but will be available once the formal invitations are sent out.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Guests will be noted on your Save the Date/Invitation. We are limited due to capacity restraints.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to capacity limits, the only children invited to our wedding are those in the wedding party and immediate family.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire! Please refrain from wearing jeans, sneakers and/or t-shirts.

Can I use my phone to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We want to have an "unplugged ceremony." So, please refrain from using your phone to take pictures during the ceremony. But, please feel free to take (and share) your own pictures during the reception!

Do you have a room block?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block booked at the Residence Inn by Marriott - North Conway and at the Fox Ridge Resort in North Conway. You can find more information about both of our room blocks on our Travel page!

Do I need to book two nights at the hotel?

Answer

Unfortunately, because it is "peak foliage" season most hotels in the area are requiring a two-night minimum. If you book in either of our room blocks at the Residence Inn or at the Fox Ridge Resort, there is a two-night minimum. Some of the smaller Inns in the area do not have a two-night minimum, so please feel free to look into those options or book outside of our room blocks at other hotels.

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a shuttle service from the Residence Inn/Fox Ridge Resort to the Old Saco Inn at the beginning of the event, and then from the Old Saco Inn back to the Residence Inn/Fox Ridge Resort at the end of the night. We will not be providing shuttle services to any of the other hotels in the area. Please make note - the venue is located off of a very long and dark Maine road, so taking the shuttle may be the best option!

Is the venue ride share friendly?

Answer

Unfortunately, the area itself is not ride share friendly. Ubers/Lyfts are not readily available. Please do not rely on ride shares for transportation.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue has plenty of parking. Cars can also be left at the venue overnight and picked up on Sunday. So, if you drive to the venue and then decide to have a little too much fun, you can leave your car and take the shuttle back to the Residence Inn at the end of the night. Although, please note that you will be responsible for getting back to your car on Sunday.
