When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We'd love it if you could RSVP by September 25th. That way, we can provide the headcount to the venue and to the caterer.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While the event itself isn't black tie, the Groom and the Best Man will be in Air Force mess dress. Black tie and mess dress are invited. However, dark suits are also welcome. For women, cocktail dresses or formal dresses would be perfect!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, the Travel Section of our website will have details about our block hotel reservations as well as about Airbnb's in the area.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While this is largely an adult event, if the only reason you would be unable to attend is because of childcare, please contact us as soon as possible and we will see what we can do!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be offered between both hotels and the venue prior to the ceremony and throughout the reception.

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

While we suggest booking your accommodations as soon as possible, the block reservation is available until September 14th. Afterwards, you will need to book directly through the hotel at whatever rate they're currently offering.

I'm driving to the venue. Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes! The venue is located on the property of a golf course and country club. There is a parking lot adjacent to the venue that will be available for our guests.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. Please include a note regarding your allergy or any dietary restrictions on your RSVP card, or let us know with an email or text.

Will I need to bring cash for the bar?

Answer

No, there will be an open bar at cocktail hour and throughout the reception.

October in Boston... Won't it be cold?

Answer

Usually, temperatures are between the mid 40s and mid 60s in October. We'd recommend bringing a shawl or a light jacket just in case! The venue does have an indoor option for the ceremony in case it rains or is too cold.

When will dinner be served?

Answer

Hors d'oeuvres will be served during cocktail hour at 5PM. Dinner will begin at around 6:15PM.

Just got my invite! Why are you asking for the date of my arrival and my hotel on the RSVP card?

Answer

In case some guests need rides from the airport to the hotel, this will help us coordinate!
