Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Formal wear is preferred, but we want all our guests to be comfortable. Margam Park Castle is a five min walk up the main driveway, so if you want to explore the castle grounds, note that there is gravel, grass, and garden paths - so it's recommended to plan shoes accordingly. Ladies, if you want to swap out some heels for sandals while you explore the castle feel free!

Question

Can we explore the Castle?

Answer

Absolutely! Margam Castle is open to the public on the day, so there will be members of the public present around the Orangery and the Castle until the grounds shut for the evening. You are more than welcome to explore the castle during cocktail hour post ceremony. If you arrive early, and wish to see the Castle, just make note of time to return to the Orangery in time for the 4pm Ceremony start. You may also notice the Bride and Groom having their wedding photos at this time, we ask kindly that you wait until after the ceremony to say hi!
