Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us.

Sophia Lang

Maid of Honor

We met right after she moved from California to NC and we hit it off really quickly our freshman years of high school. We've been friends ever since and I am so grateful for her being my sister in Christ and for the many things he has brought us through together. I don't know what I would do without her. -Keturah

Mikayla Smith

Bridesmaid

As she will readily admit, she did not like me when we met and didn't for a time, but no one would be able to tell now as we are inseparable. And I had the joy of spending my Covid days with one of my many "families." -Keturah

Anna Hamilton

Bridesmaid

We met in passing and hung out in many of the same group settings, but we didn't really hit it off until she joined my caregroup. And from there, there have been many sweet times of fellowship and edifying one another. -Keturah

Marcy Montoya

Bridesmaid

The life of the party! I don't know what I would do without this ball of energy. We have had so many good laughs, but she also keeps me in line and we have so many fruitful discussions. Truly a blessing in my life! -Keturah

Alethea Simms

Bridesmaid

No one could ask for a better sister. With all that we have been through together, with how our relationship has ebbed and flowed, she's stuck through it all and has shown me such a tremendous amount of love. She is so compassionate to all those she comes in contact with. -Keturah

Troy Paylor

Best Man

Troy and I first met when I began at The Expositors Seminary through Twin City Bible Church. Our friendship grew over quotes from many great Puritans and learning from each other about the Scriptures. Since then our brotherhood has grown and Troy has been a faithful brother that I can always count on. -Hunter

Hadyn Simms

Groomsman

Hadyn is a continual source of encouragement. He brings many laughs and memorable moments, and much brotherly love. We are thankful for the Lord's work in his life and the impact he has had in our lives. Hadyn, may the Lord keep you and continue His work in your life. Love you! -Keturah and Hunter

Forrest Lyerly

Groomsman

He is my big brother. From days when we rode scooters, dirt bikes, and four wheelers Forrest has been there with me for it all. We have been through many things together and I am thankful to the Lord for him. Keturah and I are thankful for Forrest and his wife Hailey for the encouragement they have been to us. -Hunter

Blake Lyerly

Groomsman

Oh man where to start...he attacks me with hugs (and I'm not joking), lol. The Lord has blessed me with three wonderful brothers and Blake is third in line. He causes me to laugh and I do not think he has an off button. Ever since Keturah and I began dating, Blake has been very encouraging towards us, and Keturah has gotten to see Blake's real side, lol. We love you bro! -Hunter

Lance Lyerly

Groomsman

Lance is my youngest brother, but I often find myself learning much from him. He is very intelligent and humble. He is a great father to my nephew and he is a wonderful brother. Lance may be quiet at times, but his gears are turning. Keturah and I love getting to be around Lance and he brings much laughter to our lives. Lance, we have been through many things over the years and I am thankful that the Lord made us brothers. -Hunter

Bryan Simms

Father of the Bride

The first man I ever loved! I couldn't ask for a better Dad. He has been a prime example of how the home is to be lead and showed me what a life of humility and submission to God's word looks like. He showed the only way to salvation, by grace through faith in Christ. Love you Dad! -Keturah

Ruth Simms

Mother of the Bride

To the best Mom one could ever ask for! She has borne so much with me and has been one of my closest confidants. She has shown such tender comfort and care and has consistently been an example of what the life of a woman of God is supposed to look like. -Keturah

Kelli Lyerly

Mother of the Groom

My mom has been there for me through it all. She has always been there for my brothers and myself and continues to express her love and care for her family. I am very grateful for the mother that God gave me and the impact that she has had on who I am today. My mother does not know a stranger and this is one of the characteristics I cherish about her most. I love you mom! -Hunter

Mark Lyerly

Father of the Groom

My dad is one of the smartest men I know. Ever since I can remember he has taught my brothers and I that the things of life are not accomplished in one swoop, but in small pieces. I am thankful for the guidance he has given me over the years and for teaching me the Bible. I will always cherish our many conversations about eschatology and look forward to the conversations we will have in the future about God and His word. I am thankful for the dad the Lord gave me, and am encouraged by the Lord's work in his life. I love you dad! -Hunter

Andrew Lyerly

Ring Bearer

This is a little, wild bundle of joy. He has been such a joy to watch grow up! I (Hunter) am thankful for my nephew and the joy that he has brought to all of our lives. I (Keturah) am looking forward to being his "Auntie Tura!" -Keturah & Hunter

Rosie Gumprecht

Flower Girl

I have known this little bundle of joy since she was a baby, meeting them shortly after the family moved from California. It has been an absolute joy to watch her grow up, to see her personality develop and to see and hear about all of the things that she is learning. I am so grateful for her family and the influence they have had in my life and for letting me be a part of theirs. -Keturah Simms

Danny Gumprecht

Officiant

I have known Danny for almost 6 years now and he has been one of the biggest figures in my life that has shaped my walk with Christ and has brought so much truth to bear in my life, and he is still doing that, now for the both of us. -Keturah
