Things To Do

We are excited to share a few of our favorite places with you!

Douro Valley

Lamego, Viseu 5100-381, Portugal

If you have a free day before or after the wedding, Douro Valley is an absolute must. This UNESCO World Heritage region is home to rolling vineyards, terraced hillsides, and the sparkling Douro River winding through it all. Spend the day sipping world-famous Port and wines at family-run estates, take a scenic boat cruise along the river, or simply relax and soak in the breathtaking views!

Dom Luís I Bridge

Porto, Porto District 4000, Portugal

Stretching across the Douro River, the Dom Luís I Bridge is Porto’s most iconic landmark—and a must for your camera roll. Built in the 19th century by a disciple of Eiffel, it connects the beautiful Ribeira district with Vila Nova de Gaia, home to all that glorious Port wine. Best Spots to Soak It In: • Jardim do Morro – Grab a bench, watch the sunset, and feel smug about your life choices. • Upper Deck of the Bridge – Stroll across for epic views in every direction (and maybe a light breeze through your hair). • Miradouro da Serra do Pilar – Higher up, with sweeping “wish-you-were-here” views. • Terrace Lounge 360º at Porto Cruz – Order a cocktail or a glass of Port, sit back, and enjoy the sparkling city. ✨ Pro tip: Golden hour here is pure magic. Bring your camera and your best smile.

Livraria Lello

144 Rua das Carmelitas, Porto, Porto 4050-161, Portugal

For all the book lovers—rumor has it this spot inspired J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series!
