Things To Do
The Beach!
The Jersey Shore has gorgeous, sandy beaches and warm water that is perfect for swimming and sunning. Lifeguards are on duty daily and the "Fudgy Wudgy Man" makes his rounds selling delicious frozen treats (Venmo accepted). Beach tags are required, but many accommodations will provide them on a complimentary basis.
The Promenade
A small boardwalk along the beach that is a great place for jogging, walking, and biking (rentals available).
Marita's Homemade Ice Cream
Our favorite ice cream parlor in SIC. Famous for their giant soft serve cones (sprinkles required)! One block over from the beach, so it's a great spot to grab a frozen treat to eat on the beach.
Ocean City Boardwalk
If you're looking for something bigger than the Promenade, Ocean City has a quintessential Jersey Shore boardwalk complete with rides, arcades, fudge, saltwater taffy, soft serve ice cream, cotton candy, rainbow lollipops, and hermit crabs.
Cape May
Historic, quaint beach town with lighthouses, vineyards, Victorian architecture, a new brewery, and lovely art galleries & shops.
Parasailing
For a birds eye view of SIC, parasailing charters can be arranged through Sea Isle Parasail.
Mini Golf
A classic Jersey Shore activity, get in a round of Mini Golf at Pirate Island Golf
Water Sport Rentals (Kayaks, Surfboards, SUP, etc.)
If you're looking to be active on the ocean or bay, Harbor Outfitters has great rental options for water sports.
Beach Bars
There are several beachy dive bars in the center of town! Think no shower happy hour vibes :) Many offer live music! A couple of the most popular are the Ocean Drive (known by locals as " The OD") and O'Donnell's Pour House (lively Irish Pub).
