What is "beach formal" attire?

Answer

A dress, suit, or jumpsuit all work for a beach formal wedding. Opt for solid, lighter colors and breathable fabrics. Tea-length dresses and jumpsuits are acceptable for beach formal attire. Since stilettos are a hazard on the sand, wear a chunky heel or formal sandals. Consider bringing a formal pair of heels for the reception. Wear either a suit or a long-sleeved shirt with dress slacks. Tie and jacket are optional. Consider a breathable fabric such as linen, khaki, or seersucker. Dress shoes or a nice pair of shoes that compliment the slacks are preferred. Shorts and sandals are best left at home.

Thank you again for coming to celebrate our special day ❤ Due to the windy conditions at the beach, we are moving our wedding ceremony location from 61st beach to the Sea Isle City Yacht Club (4487 Venicean Road, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243). Shuttles to the Sea Isle City Yacht Club will be running on a revised schedule as follows: 3:15pm 75th & Landis Avenue 3:30pm 60th & Central Avenue 3:40 60th & Central Avenue 3:40 45th & Central Avenue Valet parking is available at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City. Is parking available?

Answer

Yes. Street parking will be available around 61st Street Beach and valet parking will be available at the Sea Isle City Yacht Club.

Question

What if there is inclement weather (e.g. wind, rain, heat, etc.)?

Answer

In the event of poor weather conditions, the ceremony will be held at the Sea Isle City Yacht Club as opposed to 61st Street Beach. The time of the ceremony will remain 4-4:30 PM. Please check our wedding website on June 3 for the latest updates and expect a text message to notify you if we have to move the ceremony to the Yacht Club.
