Registry & Tradition

Your presence is a gift in itself. In place of a traditional registry, we would like to preserve the Cambodian tradition of the "Red Envelope" which carry monetary gifts. The tradition of the "Red Envelope" or "li xi" dates back to the Song Dynasty (960–1279) in China which spread to other nations and offers the newly married couple success, health, and prosperity. Red Envelopes will be provided at the reception and towards the end of dinner, the bride and groom will change into traditional Cambodian wedding attire and will visit each table to receive these gifts. However, if you would prefer a non-monetary gift, we do have small Registry lists below. Thank you so much for helping us uphold this tradition and being part of our big day!
