The Wedding Website of Kerry Loughran and Marcin Bober

We can't wait for you to discover the magic of Krakow, Poland with us! It is a very special place for us both - Marcin's stomping grounds from his undergrad and Master's, Kerry’s first forays in Poland and together a romantic backdrop where we fell in love! Once the capital of Poland, Krakow was surrounded by a nearly 2 mile wall, 46 towers + a 6 meter wide moat. The Main Market Square (largest in Europe!), designed in 1257, has charmed Kerry with its cobblestone + quaint market stalls! Marcin loves to the tradition of the interrupted trumpeter! Each hour since the 14th century, a trumpeter plays 'the Hejnał Mariacki' from the tower but stops abruptly to commemorate the trumpeter who was struck in the throat during the Mongol invasion! We look forward to sharing our favourite little corners - like the GF DF cafe we adore, a Michelin-starred restau with some of the best pierogi and other charming spots! And of course, the Polish wedding traditions!! Just BYOV* ;o) *vodka

We love this cafe!! They have the most amazing gluten free, dairy free and sugar free cakes and other delicious treats! As well as pierogi (Polish dumplings) and other lunch foods! The 'Snickers' bars get Kerry + Marcin's seal of approval!

Restaurant Pod Baranem is one of our fave spots we visit each time we're in Krakow!! It's a Michelin-starred restaurant that is amazing value. They have GF DF pierogi which are one won't soon forget! And so many other delicious specialties, like bigos, venison, potato pancakes and broth... just to note from a local point of view - the little vodka shots they offer you to finish are a rip off!!
