Travel time from NYC to Lake Ariel, PA
Without traffic, you will be to beautiful Lake Ariel Pennsylvania from NYC within 2 hours and 30 minutes. Please take this into consideration when booking lodging for the night before the wedding, or if you plan on driving in the morning of October 5th.

**Guests must indicate they are making a reservation with our room block by calling the hotel directly at 570-536-6020 for room block rates to be honored. Please mention the McCarthy wedding; rates & availability will be held until Monday, August 5th 2024, so please book ASAP. This will only be honored when booking directly with Hotel Anthracite, no third party websites (ex. Booking.com, Expedia.) ** This is the closest upscale hotel to the property, located in Carbondale PA, which is about 30 minutes via car or uber to the ceremony location. See BELOW for SHUTTLE INFO!

Make our wedding weekend a vacation, or book for larger parties of people! There are many full house rental properties within the region of Lake Ariel, PA (ex. The Hideout) about 10-15 minutes away from the property. Please text Kerry at 718-801-2815 regarding questions or concerns with rental properties.

Uber to and from venue
Uber is not as active in this part of PA as NYC. Please be conscious of time, and make sure you leave your accommodations at least 45 minutes before the start time for the ceremony! Prices range from $28-$40 for up to 6 people per car.
Shuttle
Shuttle From Main Hotel to Ceremony & Reception!

A Shuttle Bus will be provided to our guests who will be staying at Hotel Anthracite to get you all over to the ceremony & reception at New Leaf Farm **This is the first shuttle, with 2 others arriving shortly thereafter. 40 people per bus! **
