What are your COVID requirements?

Answer

Presently there are no COVID restrictions required by our venue or the state of New Jersey. That being said, we strongly prefer that you are vaccinated before attending this event. If you are not vaccinated, we respectfully ask that you wear a mask.

Where should I fly into?

Answer

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) are the closest and most convenient options. Please note that Newark does have a train service into Princeton, while Philadelphia does not. If you are beginning or ending your trip in New York City, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) are both viable options. For more information, please visit our travel tab.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We highly recommend staying at the Nassau Inn. This is the only hotel in downtown Princeton and you will be within walking distance to most major attractions. Please see our travel tab for more information on the discounted room block. While there are other hotel options outside of Princeton (along Route 1), please note they are about 15 - 20 minutes away from Jasna Polana and downtown Princeton. These hotels are not within walking distance to any restaurants or attractions, so you will need to utilize a ride-sharing app or rent a car. We encourage you to book your hotel arrangements as early as possible. October is the busiest time of year in Princeton due to peak foliage.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

Princeton is a small town and easy to get around without a car. If you are flying into Newark, you can train from the airport to Princeton Junction. The Nassau Inn is within walking distance from most activities. Taxis and Ubers are also prevalent in the area. If you are staying at Nassau Inn and choose to rent a car, parking is located at the Hulfish & Chambers Street garages. There is a group discounted parking rate of $18 per night. There will be complimentary valet parking at Jasna Polana.

I hear you can't pump your own gas in New Jersey, is this true?

Answer

It's true! New Jersey is one of two states (Oregon is the other) where it is illegal to pump your own gas. If you plan to have a car, simply drive up to the pump and a gas station attendant will handle the rest. Please note that it is not customary to tip the attendants.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

Princeton is absolutely beautiful this time of year! Fall foliage peaks at the end of October in Central New Jersey, so we highly recommend walking around to enjoy the changing leaves. Temperatures range from the mid-50s (10C) to the mid-60s (16C), though nights can be a bit chillier. Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outside.

It's date night! Respectfully, our reception venue is 21 and up. We will be providing sitters for those that need it — please contact Kerry or Carlton for more information.

I noticed Jasna Polana is a TPC golf course . . . can I golf?

Answer

Yes! Discounted day passes are available for wedding guests. Please contact Kerry or Carlton for more details.
