We will be sending out formal invitations in February 2022, with RSVPs due by April 1st.
Growing up in North Carolina, the Blue Ridge Mountains are home to Seth. While attending Duke University, Kerri grew to love Asheville and its surrounding mountains. Asheville is the first place we went on a trip together, and it's been a very special place to us ever since. We truly can't wait to share our favorite place with you!
Claxton Farm is ~15-20 minute drive from downtown Asheville. We will provide a shuttle from the Hilton Garden Inn Asheville Downtown to the venue and back. Even those who are not staying at the Hilton Garden Inn can use this shuttle to get to and from downtown Asheville as they choose - feel free to park at/next to the hotel and catch the shuttle! There is also ample parking at the venue for those who prefer to drive, but cars cannot be left overnight.
Yes, Claxton Farm has a parking lot on site. However, cars are NOT allowed to be left overnight. Please keep this in mind when planning your night. We will be offering guests transportation to and from downtown Asheville.
The ceremony will be held outside in the grass field of Claxton Farm. Please wear sensible shoes!
We are expecting comfortable weather. During May in Asheville/Weaverville, the average high-temperature is 74°F and the average low-temperature is 52°F. As the night could get chilly, feel free to bring a shawl or light jacket to keep you comfortable.
Yes, kids are invited and will have plenty of things to do and tons of space to run. Please be sure to add them to your RSVP so that we can plan appropriately.
Yes! Use our wedding hashtag #KerriGetsBlitched. We look forward to checking out all the photos you guys take. We will also have the very lovely and talented Shelia Nolt taking professional photos. Check out her work at https://sheilanoltphotography.com/
If you know Kerri and Seth at all, the answer is YES! While our fur babies Hendrix and Ringo will not be able to join us, there will be llamas, miniature horses, goats, etc and hundreds of cattle roaming the hills. The resident llama Chocolate Chip, who we can't wait for you to meet, has his own Instragram if you want to get excited (@ClaxtonsChocoChip)
