Meet our Peeps!

Sophie Kern

Maid of Honor

Sophie is my taller, wiser, and cooler little sister/built in best friend. I truly feel so lucky everyday to have a sister that doubles as my personal comedian, style icon, and overall inspiration for who I want to be as a person. She may be younger than me, but I look up to her in every possible facet. Everyone who meets my sister instantly loves her, and her positivity makes every day better. I am truly honored to have her be the person standing right next to me as I give her a brother in law! Fun fact: I literally bailed her out of jail.

Scott Muhonen

Best Man

Scott is the closest person I have to a brother. Having been friends for fifteen years, we have been through much together, and he has always stuck by my side. We met at a church youth group in 5th grade and became friends, managing to spend a large portion of our time together despite living 30 minutes apart. His family became a second family to me, and his father, Mark, is officiating our wedding. The time we’ve spent together, owning a lawn care business together, living together, countless trips, evenings spent on the boat, and our shared interests and faith have cultivated a relationship between us that is unparalleled in depth and resilience, and there is no one that I would rather have by my side while Abbie and I step into the next stage of our relationship.

Kate Lindor

Maid of Honor

Kate is my BFF and truly my soulmate (sorry Josh). She was the first friend I made on the first day of our college orientation and since then we've been through some questionable shenanigans, traveled throughout Europe, and grown through every season of life stronger than ever. Kate is the life of the party, the karaoke queen, the best listener and most faithful friend you could ask for. She has truly been one of my biggest answers to prayer and it's no secret how much I love her! Fun fact: I spent all of college relentlessly trying to set Kate up with Josh. Aren't we glad that never worked out??

Will Marquis

Groomsman

Will’s caring nature and unique sense of humor have significantly contributed toward shaping me into who I am today. Long days in the desert, longer nights in the mountains, long days in class, and even longer nights doing homework have brought us close together. His musical talent and ability to create cohesion amongst friends are highly valued. He is one of my best friends, and I couldn’t imagine our wedding day without him.

Berkeley DeAngelo

Bridesmaid

Berkeley and I originally met through our men (Sam and Josh have been best friends for years now). From the moment I met Berkeley, I knew I wanted to be friends with her. She is one of the coolest and funniest people I know, as well as one of the most wise, compassionate, and driven humans you'll meet. She has loved and led both of us throughout our entire relationship, and we are so grateful to have friends like her and Sam for life. They have both shown us what accountable, reliable, and constant friendship looks like. We can't wait to walk through the journey of life and marriage with Berkeley in our corner!

Sam DeAngelo

Groomsman

Sam is the most compassionate and supportive man that I know. He has provided essential encouragement to Abbie and I from day one, and we are incredibly grateful for it. Despite us both attending the same college, it wasn’t until after graduating that Sam and I became friends. His goofy attitude and candid demeanor made getting to know him a joy, and I have been blessed to have him as a close friend.

Hannah Miller

Bridesmaid

Hannah is my longest-running friendship, throwing it back to when we were just little 5 year old nuggets. Our spark really ignited after we had both finished undergrad and were working at the same place. I always thought Hannah was out of my friendship-league, but thankfully we quickly realized that we were soul sisters. Our walks around the lake and our drives across the city are some of my most cherished memories. I'm forever grateful for all of the nights she risked her life to hang out with me in the presence of my cat despite her severe allergies. Hannah knows my heart and soul to the deepest extent, and I can't imagine my wedding day without her. Fun fact: Hannah's nickname on our childhood soccer team was Hardware, and she hates that.

Ryan Donohue

Groomsman

Ryan is the most intentional and resilient man that I know. Positivity resides at his core, and he has deeply influenced me and the rest of our friend group. He has been there for me through my highs and lows and has helped me grow as a man. Late night one-on-ones served as free therapy as we shared our struggles and ambitions. We met as fellow youth group leaders; through our shared hobbies we became friends, and through trials we have become family.

Madi Martin

Bridesmaid

Madi is my college roommate/one of my best friends. We became close after living next door to each other and leading in the same mentorship group for freshman students. After that, we spent two more years as roommates and I can truly say that she helped make my college experience so great. Madi is one of the most ridiculously funny people you'll ever meet, and I absolutely hate that we live so far away from each other so I can't be humored by her everyday anymore. I have always admired Madi for her discipline and devotion to her faith, and she's pushed me to live more freely and simply. I am honored to have her standing next to me as I marry my new forever roommate! Fun fact: Madi is another mother to my fur baby, who we adopted together in college.

Adam Jensen

Groomsman

Adam was my first friend in college. We shared nearly every class together freshman year. We wore matching outfits, and learned about biology beside a fire. He is an incredible man, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without his friendship. His ability to be gracious and understanding, but still challenge and push me to grow has played a defining role in not just me, but our whole friend group. He has been a constant in my life for 8 years now, and I know that he will be a constant for Abbie and I for years to come.

Megan (Chase) Morgutia

Bridesmaid

Meg was my full on friend crush all throughout freshman year of college. I truly thought Meg was the coolest person ever and I knew we'd be great friends if the stars ever aligned. Luckily, divine intervention took charge and we ended up being next door neighbors sophomore year. After that, we lived together for two years, adopted a cat together, and the rest is history. I am so lucky to have a friend like Meg - she is wise, humble, intentional, and one of the most hilarious people I know. Fun fact: she is getting married 1 month before us, and it's been the most fun getting to share all of this wedding excitement with each other!!

Josh Wisda

Groomsman

Josh is the most welcoming and open man that I know. He knows the struggles that I know, has many of the same ambitions that I have, and understands the necessity for dessert after meals that I understand. We have shared countless life experiences together, and he has shown me how to find joy in hardship. We have grown together, and he is one of the first people that I can depend upon. His generosity and compassion for all people is unparalleled, and he has set a standard for not only me, but for our entire friend group to strive for. He has been the first to support me, the first to encourage me, and the first to empathize with me in my battles. I truly don’t know where I would be today without him… probably in a van down by the river. Josh^2

Emily Schultz

Bridesmaid

Emily and I are truly soulmates. From the moment we met, it felt like we had been friends for a lifetime and we just clicked. Emily is such a positive light and I am so blessed to have a friend like her. She has taught me how to celebrate others well, find joy in the simplest moments, and to find the adventure in everything! We have some of my most favorite memories and I can't wait for a lifetime more. On top of that, she has been such a constant and reliable friend to both me and Josh throughout our entire relationship. We always joke that her and Gabe (see right) are our "soulmate couple" and there is no way we could get married without both of them standing up there with us! Fun fact: we have the same middle name spelled the exact same way! That's when we knew we were #supersoulmates.

Gabe Chapel

Groomsman

Gabe is the most consistent and reliable guy that I know; I can always count on him in a time of need. We met years ago through his fellow groomsmen, Will and Josh, the three of whom are childhood friends, and since then, I’ve enjoyed going on trips with, living with, and growing closer to Gabe. His creativity (both musical and mechanical) and patience are strong markers of his that do not go unnoticed, and I am grateful to have him in my life.

Kelsey Eigner

Bridesmaid

Kelsey has been one of the biggest blessings in my life over the past couple of years. Anyone who knows Kelsey is a better person for knowing her. She is the best at making everyone around her feel loved, valued, and seen. The best part about having her standing with us on our wedding day is that she is a close friend of both me and Josh. She was on our team before we even got together, and her support has remained constant and steady during our best times and our hardest times. Fun fact: I told Kelsey Josh was the one before I ever even told Josh!

Ben Eigner

Groomsman

Ben’s and my relationship has been, and will be, one of my most valued assets. We have grown together through adventures and trials of many kinds, and he embodies what true maturity is: not only knowing when to be serious, but knowing when to be the complete opposite; riotous yet responsible. He has been an outstanding display of energy and positivity, and he and his wife, Kelsey, have been an essential support to Abbie and I. I am beyond thankful to have him as a friend.

Allie Bridges

Bridesmaid

Allie and I were roommates after college and quickly became close friends - but like sister friends who felt comfortable roasting each other right from the get-go (more like Allie roasting me). Luckily I was able to expose Allie's soft side and I quickly learned that she is one of the most genuine and caring people I might ever meet. She is always going out of her way to make time for the people she loves, to celebrate others, and to bring people together. I am so thankful for the constant support system she has been throughout our entire relationship. She'd be sure to let you know that she was one of the first people to know about me and Josh's relationship. Fun fact: we are basically a throuple, because Allie likes to come on our dates and snuggle up with us to watch The Bachelor.

Justin Kern

Ring Bearer

Our ring-bearer is much older (but just as cute) as your typical ring-bearer. My sweet little brother is going to carry one of the most important roles of the entire day (literally and figuratively). Justin has taught me so much about what it means to live simply, to be grateful for every opportunity, and to be joyful in all circumstances. From the moment he was born, he completely changed the trajectory of my life and I knew we had to find the perfect role for him on our special day.
