A Small Journey
Shasta Meadows Ranch formally known as Prather is a remote ranch in Northern California. Redding and Medford are the closest airports. The airport in Redding is about a 1 hour drive through the mountains to Mt. Shasta City and a 2 hour drive to Ranch. Medford is a two hour drive to the ranch and about an 1.5 hour drive to Mt. Shasta City. We purposefully picked a 3 day holiday weekend, hoping some of you already have time off. If you are able to take more time though, we heartily recommend coming up earlier and spending a few days in this amazing area. There are waterfalls, mountain trails, cute towns and so much more that is sure to enchant. We will be there early for our wedding week, and will suggest some of these fun activities, so be sure to let us know if you are coming early. Shuttle

A shuttle from Mt. Shasta with a stop in Weed will travel every hour to ensure everyone's safety. No drinking and driving! If you have stated you want shuttle service we will be in touch to schedule pick up time. Return time will be every 2 hrs. MC will be making announcements as to when the next shuttle will be. We have a 15 passenger van and an escalade that will be making trips. Last shuttle leaves at 2 am. So if you want to party past that time, please plan accordingly.

This place is very popular and will be busy Memorial Day weekend so be sure to book early! There are still rooms available as of 5/9 but closer to the weekend it will sell out. It's got a cute restaurant and bar with an awesome guitarist playing blues on Friday nights. It also has a pool.

Convenient location, closest to Shasta Meadows Ranch. Its a 15 min drive to Mt. Shasta City and a 45 min drive to Shasta Meadows. Be sure to book this one online as even the receptionist acknowledges that its cheaper to book online!
