FAQs

What will you be doing to minimize the risk of Covid-19 spread? The health and safety of our guests is a top priority, and we are taking steps to manage risk potential. The most impactful action we can take is mandating a test for attendees as a "ticket for entry". This will include each and every guest, as well as our vendors, even if you are vaccinated. We completely understand if you're no longer able to attend. If you have any questions or concerns about additional steps we are taking, please feel free to email us at KernLsigala@gmail.com.
Question

Dress Code

Answer

Cocktail attire. Its a ranch to cowboy boots are encouraged. Please be sure to bring something warm for the evening as the day may be hot but night cools quickly. We will have space heaters around, but better safe than sorry! This is a working ranch and 100 years ago, people just buried their trash. So as much as we clean up, we are constantly finding 100 year old nails, glass bottles etc. Ladies, please make sure you do NOT walk around barefoot. So if you plan on bringing heels and think you may want to pull them off later, please be sure to bring flats to change into rather than being barefoot.

Question

Where is Shasta Meadows Ranch?

Answer

Shasta Meadows Ranch is located in a little town called Macdoel CA. From the I-5, you take highway 97 for about 45 min. W Ball Mountain Little Shasta road is just a few miles after descend from Mt. Hebron summit. It can be hard to see the sign, even during the day, so its easier to look for the green Mt. Hebron sign. There is also a strawberry field/storage on the corner of the road, another visual clue for the road. If you are traveling northbound on the 97, you will pass the abandoned Juniper Lodge on the right, but if you reach the ranger station, you've gone to far. We will have a sign with balloons day of, but be aware that you'll be turning left on the highway, so cars following you can be a bit rude when your waiting for oncoming traffic to clear. Please be aware that highway 97 can be dangerous, particularly at night as there are no lights, plenty of big trucks and deer that can run across the road. So please drive safely!

For all the days along the way
