What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The temperature average is in the low to mid 80’s! Bring lots of sunscreen. Aruba does have a nice breeze at all times. Ladies, be sure to take that into consideration when wearing any dresses that may be on the short side.

Can we hangout at the RIU Antillas (Adults only resort) next door?

Answer

Absolutely! The RUI Antillas is next door to the RIU Palace and is part of the all inclusive. They have a nice bar outside and a large pool as well. That is also where the casino (small) is located.

What is the dress attire for the wedding?

Answer

Classy beach wedding attire. Dresses (long or short) pants, linen pants, button up shirts. Ladies, we don't recommend heels. Please no white on the wedding day.

Are you doing an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we’re having an “unplugged” ceremony. Kindly rest your mobile devices and cameras! You can use your devices and cameras after the ceremony.

What is an “unplugged” ceremony?

Answer

We want you to be present and in the moment with us by leaving the photography to our photographer for the ceremony. After the ceremony, feel free to capture all the moments/memories.

Where will the Pre-Wedding Cocktails take place?

Answer

This will take place at the Barry’s Bar. This is where the welcome party took place. This is the only part of the wedding that is not on the beach.

Where will the the wedding and reception take place?

Answer

Everything will be on the beach! If for some reason it’s raining, we’ll be inside.

I have a food allergy and/or dietary restriction.

Answer

Please let us know of any dietary restrictions. The resort has many food options but we'll be sure to have options available to those with restrictions during the wedding.

Do we have to wear the wrist band that the RIU provides us at check-in?

Answer

Yes! They do check when you go on and off the beach and while on the resort. For the day of the wedding, you can cut it off BUT please be sure to keep it on you. You can take it to the front desk the next week morning to get a new bracelet. If you lose it, they will charge you.

What currency does Aruba use?

Answer

Aruban Florin but they accept USD.

Do I need any cash while on the resort?

Answer

This is an all inclusive resort. Everything (food, drinks, activities, entertainment) is included. You can bring cash to tip the staff. It’s not required but a nice courtesy.

What is the dress attire for the restaurants at the resort?

Answer

Resort casual. The Krystal Restaurant is the only restaurant on the resort that requires men to wear long pants and closed shoes.

Is the island safe to go off the resort?

Answer

Absolutely!! Aruba is one happy island.
