Over the past 6 years, Lake George has become a very special place for Chris & Keriann. When they first started dating, Chris joined Keriann & her entire family for a week at Lake George. Over the next few summers, Keriann & Chris would head up to Lake George around the 4th of July with some friends, solidifying so many great memories. From lunches at the Sagamore, spending lazy days at Sandy Bay, to getting stuck in torrential down pours in the middle of the lake – they’re all memories they both cherish. On June 26th 2021, Chris & Keriann hit road early to begin another vacation at the lake. Chris seemed very quiet & a little “off” on the drive up, but Keriann didn’t think much of it, as she thought he was just anxious to get there. They arrived at the house about 4 hours later, unpacked & got settled in. The house was perfect with an amazing view of the water. Keriann started taking a ton of photos at the house’s boat house and posting them all over social media. Little did she know what was coming. About 30 minutes later, some friends joined them at the boat house for cocktails & to soak in the view. While Keriann was on the dock staring at the water, Zac Brown’s “Chicken Fried” came on the radio. Keriann turns around, only to find Chris on one knee. He immediately asks Keriann to marry him. In disbelief, she yells “WHAT?!” “NO!”, thinking it was one of Chris’ stupid jokes. Once Keriann saw the ring and realized he wasn’t kidding, she immediately said “YES!” Keriann never thought Chris would do it in front of anyone or at the lake, but was forever grateful because it made that trip so much more special. Lake George will forever hold a special spot in their hearts, & they plan to spend their vacations at the lake for many more years to come.
