Here is a list of some things to do in the area! There is something for everyone.

Great place to go for a walk along the river and then grab a bite and drink at the cafe. You can also rent kayaks

Occoquan Regional Park

This was our first date. We met at the St. Patrick's Day Parade. We love going to the Farmer's Market on Saturdays. More info here: https://www.alexandriava.gov/FarmersMarket

Old Town

We love Occoquan! Love walking the shops and the park down by the water. Secret Garden is a great place to stop and grab a bite to eat.

Occoquan Historic District

This is a national park that has great trails (hiking and biking) and a picnic area.

Prince William Forest Park

This is a State Park that has a walking path along the water and a few other trails. We love walking here and letting Rocco get out some of his energy.

Leesylvania State Park

Manassas National Battlefield Park

An amazing museum and it's FREE!!! Of course, I am biased, it is the best military museum ever! It just opened up in 2020. They even have an experiential room where you can "operate" a drone. Highly recommend

This is a great walk!  Not a lot of shade, so wear your sunscreen!
