Where is the wedding located?

We’re excited to celebrate our wedding at Lilly Creek Farms! Join us at this beautiful venue located at 1654 Auraria Rd, Dawsonville, GA 30534.

What time does the ceremony/reception start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by a delightful cocktail hour and reception. We kindly ask that guests arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow for seating. There will be pre-ceremony prosecco & piano. Don’t forget to check the schedule tab for more details about our special day!

Will the festivities be held indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We’re thrilled to share that most of our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, offering a lovely setting for our special day! Dining and dancing will take place indoors, so you can enjoy the best of both worlds. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For our celebration, we request Formal/Black Tie Optional. Men are encouraged to wear a suit or a tux. Women can choose a fancy cocktail dress or floor length gown.

Are children/plus ones invited?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who receive a formal invitation. This means that only those specified on the invitation and RSVP are invited. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you enjoy the night with us!

What is the policy on photography and videography during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that only our professional photographer and videographer capture photos and videos during the ceremony to maintain a distraction-free environment. However, we encourage all guests to take as many photos and videos as you’d like after the ceremony! We can’t wait to see your captures of the celebration!

Is parking available?

Answer

There is convenient onsite parking available at the venue, and we’re pleased to offer overnight parking for your convenience. Feel free to make yourselves at home and enjoy the festivities without worrying about your vehicle!

Do rideshare services reach the venue?

Answer

Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft do reach the venue, but availability is very limited. To ensure a smooth experience, we strongly recommend arranging your transportation in advance.

Will there be transportation provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle service available for guests. It will operate to specific locations, including the prearranged hotel blocks (Smith House, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn and Suites). Shuttle Services are available for those who RSVP'd YES to shuttle only. You will receive a text the Thursday before wedding day with the information regarding your pick up location and time.

What are the hotel blocks?

Answer

Hotel blocks are available at the Holiday Inn Express, Smith House Inn & Lodge and Comfort Inn and Suites. We ask that you make hotel accommodations far in advance as the fall season in Dahlonega is extremely busy and hotel space is limited.
