Keri and Robert’s relationship was years in the making, waiting for God’s perfect timing. They both grew up in Long Island, NY, living just 10 minutes apart. When Robert was 5 years old, his family moved to Peachtree City, GA. Many years later, when Keri was turning 14, her family also moved to Peachtree City. They both attended the same church, went to rival high schools, and eventually found their way to the University of Georgia. GO DAWGS! Despite sharing so many mutual connections—cities, schools, and friends—they never crossed paths. After college, Robert began his career in Atlanta, while Keri moved to the city for medical school, eventually staying for her Emergency Medicine residency. Through all those years, they remained unaware of each other’s existence until their first date in August 2023 at Bold Monk Brewing. They instantly bonded over their love of family, UGA football, and a shared sense of adventure. It felt as though an invisible string had connected them all along, through years of close proximity, yet they had never met. A year later, after celebrating their first anniversary, Robert proposed on the beach at sunset in the Bahamas. He had arranged for a secret photographer to capture the moment, making it even more special. "The Invisible String Theory-The universe will keep two people apart until the timing is right. When you meet there will be so many 'coincidences' in the timing. If one thing would have fallen out of line you would have never crossed paths. But the universe aligns and you will realize that everything that you went through before you met, was just preparing your heart for them."
