Hood River

Great for a day of shopping, breweries and wine tasting! This is a beautiful drive through the Columbia Gorge. Make a stop at Multnomah Falls on your way. If you are feeling adventurous, you can even try windsurfing at the waterfront in Hood River.

Multnomah Falls

Oregons largest waterfall. Easily accessible to all abilities and options for hiking beyond the fall for the more adventurous.

Cannon Beach

Great place for a day beach trip. About 1.5 hour beautiful drive. Make it a coast loop by hitting a few beach towns and scenic lookouts through Tillamook.

Willamette Valley area for Wineries

Visit Oregons wine country. Oregon is most famous for its Pinot noir, which is produced throughout the state. The Willamette Valley is the epicenter of a world-class wine region famous for some of the United States' best Pinot Noir.

Mount Hood

Oregon's highest mountain. Whether you’re hitting the slopes, exploring the mountain’s miles of trails or cozying up to a fireplace, Mount Hood offers seemingly endless opportunities for adventure.

Powell's City of Books

While touring Portland visit our famous bookstore even if you are not a reader it is worth the visit.

Washington Park/ Pittock Mansion

Visit beautiful Washington Park and the Rose gardens for trees, hiking trails, and/or a beautiful little drive. Make sure to take the short few mile drive over to Pittock Mansion (no need to take the tour but walk to the back of the house to see the view of Portland and on a clear day multiple mountain ranges). This does not have to be an all day adventure if you are limited on time. It’s great to pair up with a touring day of Portland, or stopping at a few breweries.
