July 20. We truly hope you can celebrate with us on our special day, but if you know you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as you can so we can plan accordingly.
Other than kids in our immediate families, we politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception. If you cannot separate from your little one(s) for any reason, please let us know so we can explore options for an on-site babysitter. WE LOVE YOU and want to accommodate those with young families as best we can.
This time of year, it is usually around 80 degrees F during the day and the night gets to a low of around 60 degrees F. The ceremony space is outdoors and is shaded with trees and dinner and dancing will be indoors. Colorado has unpredictable weather patterns, this means it is not uncommon for a rain shower to come through. If this happens, we party on! There is indoor space and covered outdoor space where we can wait out the storm.
It's not 'black tie' but it's not a picnic in the park - find something in the middle. Gentlemen, tie or no tie, the choice is yours. Ladies, mind your heels - the grass can be soft and the stone patio unforgiving, so maybe rethink stilettos.
We are doing our very best to keep our wedding on the smaller side. Please only bring a plus one if specified on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding and please reach out to us with any questions.
Possibly! WeeCasa Tiny House Resort has 22 tiny homes on site. Unfortunately, our wedding weekend has already been bought out. That being said, it doesn't hurt to check occasionally to see if any availability has popped up due to cancellations. They do have a 2 night minimum requirement. Another option is A-Lodge Lyons, a 7 minute walk to the venue. This is a historic Victorian home in downtown Lyons that is equipped with only a handful of rooms. I suggest booking a room ASAP if this is of interest to you.
Even though we'll be busy getting ready, we'd still love for our friends and families to have the opportunity to hang out and get to know each other! Grab someone you don't know and drag them along for a morning adventure - poke around Pearl Street, check out the farmer's market, or head to Chautauqua for a quick hike. Check out a few of our favs: Snooze - weekend waits can be long (but worth it), so get your name on their online waitlist before you head over. Lucile's Creole Cafe - another Colorado staple! Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse - they don't take lunch or brunch reservations, walk-ins only!
No, stay wherever you'd like! If you want to take the shuttle to the venue, you just have to catch it from either Moxy or Residence Inn.
