Question

COVID-19: Will I have to wear a mask?

Answer

Yes. Although this is a somewhat controversial topic among people, we are requiring masks to be worn unless you are eating or drinking, even if you have received the vaccine. There will be people attending who have refused the vaccine, so this is the best way to keep everyone protected. Keo and I agree it's better to be safe than sorry, and we have too many loved ones that may be compromised. IF YOU REFUSE TO WEAR A MASK PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND OUR WEDDING FESTIVITIES. Continuing to have this celebration in the midst of a pandemic was not a decision we made lightly, and we are trying to keep people as safe as possible.

Question

COVID-19: Will I have to social distance as much as possible?

Answer

Yes. Particularly if someone is uncomfortable in a social setting, please respect the distancing guidelines. We are trying to be as safe and accomodating as possible.

Question

COVID-19: What should I do if I feel slightly sick/run down?

Answer

DO NOT ATTEND. We fully understand if you are unable to make it. There is still not a lot known about this illness, and we would rather everyone stay safe than risk spreading the illness, especially when there will be vulnerable populations attending.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception going to be held?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at the Pulaski Inn in Cudahy, WI, with the reception to follow.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30 pm. Please be present and seated between 4:00 - 4:15 pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress in cocktail attire (suits and party dresses).

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Wisconsin can be fun! It might be sunny and warm, or we might end up with snow, so please plan for all types of weather. Luckily the ceremony and reception will be indoors, so as long as you have proper clothing for travel, you can wear whatever you wish! Generally, during the day the weather is in the 50s and 60s, and can drop to the 40s and 30s in the evening.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will unfortunately be limited in the number of people invited to the wedding. It will be stated on your invitation/RSVP card the number of "plus ones" you will be allowed to bring. Please do not bring more than the allowed number for safety reasons.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my child(ren)?

Answer

Even though our wedding will be child-friendly, due to COVID-19 restrictions they will only be allowed if specifically invited/included in the invitation. Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause.

Question

Are we allowed to take pictures during the ceremony and reception to share on social media?

Answer

We highly encourage you to take as many photos as you like during the reception; however, for the ceremony we prefer that no phones/cameras be used. We have hired a professional photographer who will be taking plenty of photos during the ceremony, and prefer less distractions while renewing our vows. If you choose to post to social media, please use the hashtag #rothandrollallnight2021.

Question

Are we allowed to discuss politics at any point during the ceremony or reception?

Answer

No. Our friends and families come from very diverse backgrounds and therefore will have a wide range of opinions and beliefs. Because of the current political climate, and how politics in general seem to bring out the worst in people, please refrain from discussing anything political on our special day. We do not need it to be tainted by heated debates among our friends and family members.

Question

I have dietary restrictions; will the caterer have appropriate food options?

Answer

TBD

Question

Do you have accommodation recommendations for out-of-town guests?

Answer

Yes. Please view the travel tab for information. There are plenty of hotels in the area available for use!

Question

Does the hotel provide transportation to the wedding venue?

Answer

No, because we will not be booking a hotel block at this time. The Sheridan is down the block from the venue (within walking distance), otherwise transportation will have to be decided by each individual person.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

TBD.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have a registry here on Zola under the Registry tab; there are a few cash funds, as well as links to our registries on Amazon, Target, and Anthropologie.

Question

We have never been to Wisconsin before/are from out-of-town. What types of things are there to do here?

Answer

Please view the Things to Do tab! There are plenty of things to see in town and in surrounding cities. Just be aware there might be COVID-19 restrictions, so be sure to check online or call the restaurant/museum/etc prior to visiting.

Question

I still have unanswered questions. Who may I contact for more information?

Answer

Please contact Ashley at doran.ashley20@yahoo.com.
