Question

What should I wear for the ceremony?

Answer

Beach formal, meaning for men a nice “Hawaiian” style button up and nice shorts or pants. For women a beach dress.

What is the weather like?

Answer

It will be a little hot and humid so prepare yourself for that. However with the Caribbean ocean breeze it’ll be perfect! Obviously in the Caribbean weather can be all over the place… from sunny to cloudy to storming.

What airport do I fly into?

Answer

Banreservas Aeropuerto Gregorio Luperón (POP). It is located in the city of Puerto Plata. This is the airport that is nearest to the Complex. You'll have to arrange a 20min taxi from the airport to the Complex. We fly out with American Airlines at 10:30pm on the 7th from Sky Harbor, and arrive at 12:25pm on the 8th!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a bartender every day. We ask each person that will be drinking from the bar to pay $100/per person to go towards stocking the bar with alcohol, and mixers. Or. Each apartment will have their own fridge which you can stock with the alcohol you desire at your own cost.

Will there be other events during the week?

Answer

Yes we plan on doing excursions through the week which will include a private catamaran, waterfalls, monkey exhibit, silent disco, and so forth! Not everybody has to do these excursions but this is what we will be doing and people can tag along as well!

Can I take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Yes and no. During the ceremony we ask that all phones be put away. We have a photographer that will make sure to capture the moment! Feel free to take as many pictures as you please at the reception!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you aren't staying at the property with us, there is a resort right next door that is both affordable and beautiful!
