FAQs

Question

Can I take part of communion if I am not Catholic?

Answer

We deeply cherish all of our friends and family, regardless of faith tradition. Since our wedding will take place within the celebration of a Catholic Mass, we kindly ask that only practicing Catholics receive Holy Communion. Those who are not Catholic, or who prefer not to receive, are warmly invited to remain seated in prayer or to come forward with arms crossed to receive a special blessing. Your presence and prayerful support mean the world to us, and we are truly grateful to share this sacred day with each of you.

Question

How should I spend the time between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We know there will be some time between the ceremony and the reception, and we encourage you to enjoy it however you’d like! Feel free to head back to your hotel room to freshen up, take a stroll around Northgate, or relax at Cavalry Court’s pool, bar, or lounge area before the evening celebration begins.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will take place in a Catholic church, so we kindly ask that attire be respectful of the sacred setting. The dress code for the celebration is cocktail attire- suits or dress shirts with slacks for men, and cocktail dresses or semi-formal attire for women. We appreciate your thoughtfulness in honoring both the formality of the occasion and the sanctity of the church.
