Cedar Coffee Company

Our favorite coffee shop in the area! It’s nestled in a forest, has excellent coffee, and a variety of baked goods and food options. Also has a dog friendly patio.

Castle Danger Brewery

Taproom with views of Lake Superior, games, and is dog friendly. Check their website for rotating food truck schedule.

Two Harbors Lighthouse

Walk the pier out to the lighthouse. If you’re an early riser I recommend parking at Burlington Bay and walking the Sonju Trail along the lake to the lighthouse around sunrise.

Gooseberry Falls State Park

Short walk on a paved trail to the waterfalls.

Split Rock Lighthouse State Park

Relax at pebble beach or take a short hike along the lake to see the lighthouse from below. Tours of the lighthouse are available for an additional fee.

Tettegouche State Park

Palisade Head

Dramatic cliff over Lake Superior. Go earlier or later in the day to avoid crowds. Be careful on the drive up to the parking lot as it can be narrow at times.
